I've just had a chat with the fishery manager and it's possible that he will open the top beat as well (he'll confirm tomorrow morning when we meet in the car park by the mill). If this is the case then the top beat MUST be cleared by 16.00 at the latest. The river is apparently running a bit high but otherwise in pretty good shape....................
