The move is designed to give anglers much greater flexibility compared to previous years, which saw the reservoirs only open for limited sessions.

As far as the actual fishing is concerned both reservoirs offer superb opportunities for predator anglers. Reservoir 2 is still relatively unknown as far as numbers of fish are concerned but it is a noted big fish water and there have been at least two different 30lb plus fish recorded in the last couple of years and boats can be hired for £17 a day.

Reservoir 1 has a much wider range of stock with fish of all classes showing throughout the year to fly anglers; and there is a good head of 20lb plus fish present.

Pike fishing is £15 for the day with season tickets available running from 01 November to 28 February priced at £90 (10% off for Angling Trust members)
