Daiwa Gordon League won the Division One National with 727 points, 26 points more than runners-up Liverpool and District AA. Browning Hot Rods were third with 699 points.

Individual honours went to 58 year old Ashton-in-Makerfield’s Terry Flannery, fishing for Newton-le-Willows, who netted perch and bream for a winning weight of 9.250kg. He used a pole to fish single and double caster at 13m.
