From 6pm on Friday 02 to 2pm on Sunday 04 September the magnificent Nunnery Lakes Fishery, near Thetford, Norfolk will be opening their doors to raise funds for Shane Oliver and his friends who attend Chapel Road School, in Attenborough, Norfolk; a school which specialises in helping young disabled children.

There’s plenty to do including a match on the prolific Bob’s Lake with the top five  anglers winning prizes, with a prize for the biggest carp of the match too! There are just 26 places available for this prestigious match with the tickets costing just £70 also including two breakfasts, a BBQ and a hog roast!

In addition to the main match there will also be plenty of other activities taking place around the fishery including a casting competition and a raffle with prizes donated from manufacturers such as: Korda, JRC, Dynamite Baits, Fox, Rig Marole, Richworth and others. A number of well-known anglers will be present to meet, greet  and to ask advice on all aspects of carp and carp fishing and all will be demonstrating the latest kit from a number of the top companies in the carping arena.

If you want to spend the weekend without fishing the match then the ‘Bivvy Village’ is the place to be for a good social. The cost of ‘accommodation’ in the village is just £20 – and that includes breakfast , BBQ and hog roast!

All monies raised will be going to the school; for a place in the match or more information about the event then Mark Taylor is the man to speak to on 07946 859932.
