The Jones Pit albino has avoided the efforts of some fine cat anglers throughout the spring and summer months.
But this didn’t deter Newport Pagnell angler Nigel Knightly, and he became the first angler to bank the fish since last summer when he struck into a take at 2am last week and netted the fish after a good fight.
The albino pulled the scales around to 25lb 2oz to set a new top weight for the fish.
