The Cheshire/ North West region of the Barbel Society meetstonight, Thursday, 23 August 2001, at the Boars Head, Middlewich at7pm and the highlight of the evening will be a talk and slide show,’A Barbel Adventure’, by successful local specialist angler WayneMoores.

Wayne and an upper Severn double

Wayne will talk about and show slides of ‘A Barbel Adventure’, which is about pioneering a stretch of the Upper Severn, includingswim selection, swim creation, location and tactics. And a uniquemethod of presenting a bait into a difficult swim.

This will be followed by and open form and a raffle. And BarbelSociety merchandise will be available.

Guest speakers expected for forthcoming meetings include MartinFord, Mick Wood and Stuart Morgan.
