The Angling Trust report that:

Carp Team PL was established in the UK in May 2011 under the initiative of Polish carp angling enthusiasts with the aims of promoting catch and release carp fishing and introducing Polish carp anglers living in the UK to each other. The Carp Team are really excited to be able to learn about UK angling techniques and to fish at the best UK waters and this positive attitude is gradually changing the way Carp Team PL are perceived by UK anglers.

Carp Team PL are now receiving plenty of great feedback about their activities and have achieved this through fishing within and promoting UK angling laws, customs and byelaws and by participating in angling charity events. Carp Team PL’s growing profile has been helped by the fact that one of its members, Krzysztof Mroz, is the current Polish Carp Angling Champion.

Team members are actively involved in protecting the future of fishing and have now joined the Angling Trust to support the great work that the Trust do to fight for fish and fishing and get more people fishing. Carp Team PL are also working with the Angling Trust’s Building Bridges project and its member club The Polish Anglers Association and will soon be launching a ‘Carp Fishing School’ for Polish anglers with the assistance of Angling Trust Building Bridges project officer Pawel Nycz.

In 2013 Carp Team PL plan to organize a series of competitions for Polish and English anglers which will further raise the profile of serious Polish carp angling. More details about these events can be found on the website HERE
