‘Uncle’ Jim Shelley one of the foremost catchers of big carp in recent times, is moving to Sticky Baits following a period of involvement with Dynamite Baits. Jim joins the likes of Leon Bartropp at Sticky, a company who continue to expand their product range and influence in the carp fishing world.

Jim Shelley on the move againSticky’s marketing and media man, Adam Snowden, commented:

“Jim is well known as one of the most prolific big-carp catchers around. His record for catching truly huge carp has been second to none over the last few years. Having spoken to Jim at length it is clear to see how dedicated he is to what he does and we at Sticky are delighted to have him on board.

Jim will be heavily involved with the promotional side of things, but he is also keen to take an active role in bait development. With an extensive knowledge of bait Jim is a welcome addition to our already established team of bait buffs and he understands what big carp require from a bait. Everyone at Sticky is looking forward to a long and prosperous future working with Jim.”

Speaking about his new position, Jim said:

“Anyone with their ear to the ground can’t have failed to notice what an impact Sticky are having on the carp scene at the moment. Their innovative products have been tearing some very difficult waters apart. I’m really excited about the future!”
