Redeye Baits is the brain child of Karl Worthington a man who has been passionate about carp fishing since caught his first fish – a 14lb 7oz common – at the age of eleven. He started making his own boilies in the late 1980’s and in 2000 bought his first rolling table and started successfully developing different boilie combinations for himself and friends.

Redeye Tuna and Robin Red boilies coming off the rollersRedeye Baits are not entering the arena with lots of different flavours or mass produced baits; instead they are concentrating efforts on a small selection of proven formulas that work. All baits are made using the best quality natural products blended with their unique combination of additives and they will shortly be launching their winter baits, developed last year amidst a particularly long and harsh cold spell through Christmas and the New Year. Further baits will be released throughout the following their extensive programme of research and testing.

More recently Redeye Baits have agreed to sponsor up-and-coming young North West carp angler, Robbie Briers from Chadderton, Lancashire. Robbie (14) has been making regular appearances in carp magazines and has had some notable successes on hard, high pressured North West waters.

Karl commented:

“After chatting with Robbie on the bank, witnessing his disciplined approach and keen attitude toward carp fishing and the mature way in which he presented himself, we knew that with the right guidance and encouragement he could go all the way, especially as he was already getting great results from some hard waters.”

Karl will be mentoring Robbie and Redeye Baits will be entering Robbie into the 2012 British Young Carp Anglers Championship and firmly believe he is an angler to watch out for in the future!
