A potential new British record carp has been caught from the Mid-Kent Fisheries. It was weighed on two sets of scales, one registering a few ounces below the present record of 56lb 6oz, and the other registering a few ounces more than the present record.
The fish is known as Two-tone and was netted by Matthew Lawrence.
The scales are being checked.
