DVDs from V2V Angling Productions

Two highly respected angling journalists, Brian Gay and Steve Lockett, have joined forces to create a new range of angling DVDs. They promise to utilise the DVD format more fully than ever before, using multi camera capture, cutting edge graphics and interactive menus, the angling DVD is moving into the future.

The first releases feature Daiwa Dorking and Drennan Team England star Will Raison, as the first part of a series called The Champion’s Angle. This series will feature some of the top names in match fishing giving an in depth look at the latest winning methods.

Already released are two carp fishing titles, ‘Long Pole Shallow’ and ‘Long Pole Deep’, plus one silver fish title; ‘Commercial Bloodworm and Joker’. In the pipeline for later in 2007 are a further two carp titles and one more silver fish.

The DVDs are available through Daiwa and Sensas stockists, from Amazon on the internet, or direct from www.angling-images.com.

Priced at £ 14.99 each, they are a most informative way to pick up new angling skills and with running times well in excess of one hour, can be watched again and again to get the most benefit.

FishingMagic Verdict

There is no doubt that fishing videos (DVD these days) are getting more professional by the week. No longer are the best ones being made with one camera and a sound track that seems like a desperate measure to cover up wind noise and other off-putting sounds.

These new DVDs from V2V are typical of the new generation product, made with two or more cameras, decent microphones, and lots of well spent time in the editing suite afterwards.

They’ve become a slick product, and if the presentation is of equal quality, as these are from Will Raison, then you’ve got a DVD that is worth watching and learning from.

I enjoyed these, they were interesting and well presented, I learned from them, and look forward to seeing the next ones in the pipeline.
