FISHINGmagic contributors Stewart Bloor (Sedge) and Paul Williams have formed a new specimen group which will be known as the Black Country Specimen Group (BCSG).

The new group will be launched on 1st November and will be based in the West Midlands. It’s main goal will be to enjoy the pursuit and catching of specimen fish of all species.

The aim is to set up a friendly, informal group, bringing together like-minded people. There are no minimum requirements for Personal Best Fish to join.

They will meet locally as a group every other month, and will be organising fish-ins and other activities throughout the year. Other things are planned as the group grows.

The group already has a nucleus of members, and there are quite a number of anglers showing an interest in joining from outside the Black Country area.

If you’re interested in joining and would like to attend the first meeting, contact Stewart Bloor. He will send further details, answer any questions you may have, and forward directions to the meeting place.
