BAIT COMPANIES COME and bait companies go, especially the small, cottage industry ones started by carp anglers who think their latest magical concoction will sell like hot cakes, little realising that this week’s magic bait will be last week’s blown out has-been.

For the past few months I’ve been trying three of those products. Perhaps the one I’m most impressed with is:

Hydro Stim
An attractor/bait soak that certainly smells different to anything I’ve used before and caught fish on some days when friends fishing in neighbouring pegs caught little or nothing, and Hydro Stim was the only tangible difference.

I’ve used Hydro Stim mainly as a boilie and pellet soak, but have also added it to groundbait and PVA bags.

Chilli Oil and Indian Oil
A hot chilli kick that can be used to spice up your hemp, groundbait and stick mixes.

Indian Oil
A spicy oil produced to compliment HBS’s range of Red Indian products. An excellent stick mix, groundbait, hemp additive and boilie soak.

Stick Mixes

Red Indian
A blend of fish meals and spicy powders.

Nut Mix
A blend of roasted and crushed nuts with added milk powders.

Perfect Pop-ups
Flavours: Raspberry Ripple, Pineapple and Indian Spice

Available in 12 and 16mm and made from natural products and milk protein powders. HBS say that as far as they know they are the only bait producers to use 100% natural ingredients.

	Most certainly good quality products that catch fish. And it’s good to know that they’re all made from 100% natural ingredients. If you don’t try anything else, try the Hydro Stim, it’s a soak/additive I wouldn’t like to be without.
