The 2008 Veterans National Championship’s takes place on 6th August at Lindholme Lakes near Doncaster, where 237 anglers will compete for the prize of National Champion.

The venue is a well known in match angling circles, and the NFA has seen a big increase in the number of participants from last year’s competition.

The last chance for anglers to practice for the national will be midnight on 3rd August, and then it will be the short wait until the day when anglers will have their pegs drawn at 8.30am. Competitors will then be fishing from 11.00am until 4pm where the national champion will be decided.
