GENERAL

OLD FASHIONED CARP WATER

Vacancies exist in a syndicate run on small two acre water in Bedfordshire.

This is the lake which started off Linear Fisheries in the early seventies.

Made up by a number of connecting pools, the water is very picturesque being reed and tree fringed – an intimate water that lends itself to stalking and close in carp fishing. Never known for big fish the water currently contains around 50 carp which are mainly mid-double to low twenties.

Anyone interested in being considered for membership to this water should contact Gary Edwards who controls the fishing there. Gary also controls a second small carp water near Buckingham which also has vacancies. Gary can be contacted on his mobile 07702 432948 or by email on Edwardsmeow@aol.com

MANOR FARM LAKE

Linear’s, Chris Blunt, recently caught the carp known as ‘The Matt Hayes Fish’ or by some as the ‘Peanut Fish’Chris who keeps concentrating on Manor Farm Lake to! catch ‘Cut Tail’ and the ‘Random Mirror’ admits that he has now caught this same fish five times.Because of this the fish will now be re-named ‘CHRIS’S PET’.
