Unity Lake
On his first visit to Unity Lake, which is one of the three lakes on the Guy Lakes syndicate, Andy Auerne of Marlow Bucks caught a 28.12 mirror carp. This is a personal best for him – his previous was 19.05.
Guy Lakes is open to all and there are vacancies.
Seventeen year old Richard French of Bicester in Oxfordshire now shares the Hunts Corner Lake record with a personal best 31.08 common carp. This record is shared with a mirror carp of the same weight.
Hunts Corner Lake
During his school holidays Richard has caught eleven other good carp from the venue. Hunts Corner Lake is a day ticket water and was only opened by Linear in October of last year. All the carp are originals.
Just in
Hardwick Lake fishing well this week. One angler has caught seven carp in twelve hours. The fished weighed 30.06, 29.15, 25.00, 24.06 plus three upper doubles.
