It was the annual charity fish-in and James Farrow Memorial, this year at Sywell reservoir fishing for the big tench. The fact that a double was caught only made things better, but that was only one more jewel in the crown of this very successful event in the FishingMagic calendar.
Cakey again did a great job with the on line auction, and then there was the draw for more donated goodies over the weekend of the event. You can read all about that in Richard Farrow’s report. The funds raised, a massive £ 2457.80, went to the Norwich & District Youth Diabetes Group, and I reproduce their letter of thanks to Richard below. A big thank you to all concerned.
