The line up for this year’s event is one of the strongest yet and with no fewer than ten international anglers taking part on each day of the competition, spectators can be assured of a match fishing masterclass of a standard rarely witnessed on British soil.

Alongside the fantastic sport on the river visitors can also enjoy a vast array of stalls, including a craft fair, displays by fishing tackle manufacturers and retailers, food stalls, and plenty of fun and entertainment for the kids.

Visitors on the Saturday can look forward to watching the Shakespeare Championship, where the winner will walk away with a cool £6,000 for their efforts. Sunday’s Wychavon Championship is another big money final and a good match is always guaranteed.

On Monday fourteen of the countries strongest match fishing teams line up for the prestigious Match Fishing Team Championship. This is always a tense affair, where every fish counts as anglers do everything they can to guarantee good section points for their team.

The main hub of the event takes place on the Crown Meadow at Evesham, with gates opening at 09:00 and closing at 17:30.
