Many FishingMagic members have been looking at Andrew Field’s website of hand-made floats and have been awe-struck by the sheer quality and beauty of his range of personalized 
hand crafted floats.
Now, here’s your chance to win one of Andy’s floats personalized with your name on it!
All you have to do is submit pictures of your catch to a special gallery (TBA shortly), or it could be someone else’s catch or your fishery (always better if scenes include people). The accent is on how good the photo is and that might even be how happy the captor is or just how beautiful the scenery is around the fishery. It’s got to have the ‘feel good’ appeal about it.
As an example, this is one taken a few years ago. Look at the range of bright colours, the happy look on his face, sunshine helps of course, but overall, it’s that feeling of happiness and joy that works. So you see, it may not be the size of the fish that wins (and Andy, who’s the judge, is very partial to good quality roach, hint-hint!)
But we start off in winter and roach will be thin on the ground and the sunshine will either be blinding in-yer-face or non-existent, so you’ll have to make the best of it, but get clicking when you go fishing. Digital photos cost nothing, remember that and take plenty (quickly as you can).
At the end of the year Andy will select an overall winner who will receive a small set of these floats, floats that will be treasured.
This will not be the set, it is just another example of Andy’s craftsmanship

An area to post your photos to will be provided shortly, but photos must be current, please don’t enter any taken months before (clues like leaves on deciduous trees in the middle of winter are a giveaway!) If you have any questions please ask in the thread attached to this piece.
Competition starts – 1st February 2011 and prizes are decided monthly. Floats must be personalized with winner’s name to prevent them ending up on certain auction sites, style and colouration to be agreed with Andrew Field.
