Top venue Oxford’s Linear Fisheries is no longer Shimano Linear Fisheries following a recent parting of the ways.
The new sponsor is bait company Richworth. A Richworth spokesman said, “Our field testers and many other anglers have enjoyed a great deal of success at the Linear complex and we felt that this was a great way forward for Richworth and would be beneficial to both companies.”
Head of Linear Fisheries, Len Gurd, commented, “Everyone associated with the fishery is pleased to have Richworth on board and we are positive the association will be of benefit to both parties. We are looking forward to a long association.”
