The winning entry was from Chris Hammond who made me laugh out loud. The caption was witty and, best of all, I only had to close my eyes and I could hear Knowlesy saying the words in his finely tuned Lancashire accent.

Chris wins a fantastic family holiday for up to two adults and three children at an Outthere resort in France. The Outthere holiday sites (www.outtherefishing.co.uk) offer everything for the family and, of course, some great fishing for the angler in the family, either on site or in the region.

On being told he’d won, Chris said, “Oh bloody ‘ell, I’m gobsmacked! I’ve never won anything before!”

“I’ve just turned down a holiday in France because I couldn’t afford it. A big thanks to FISHINGmagic for giving me this chance. I’ve made some really good friends as well since I joined the site,” Chris added.
