Harrisons, famous for British rod blank manufacture, have takenover the distribution of hooks from the famous Owner Hook Company ofJapan.
Owner hooks became firm favourites with carp anglers more than 20years ago when it was discovered that the pattern, strength andsharpness of Owners were far superior to anything else on the market. But they were hellishly expensive.
Now that has all changed in recent years with the advent ofchemically sharpened hooks and ‘own’ hook labels from most leadingmanufacturers.
However, it looks like Owner hooks are back at the cutting edge(pun intended) now that Harrisons have taken on the distribution.
Needle Point and Cutting Point hooks are available.
