The winning entry was from Dave Gibson with a picture of his son, 10 year old Matthew, who is seen holding his first ever fish. Matthew caught the fish from Plantations in Kingston Seymour, North Somerset. Dave said, ‘I know it’s only a small fish, but it’s a start, and now he’s really hooked on fishing!

There were some excellent close calls from:

Tom Barnacle, aged 11, wholives in Great Haywood, near Stafford who sent us these:

Tom said, ‘The mirror I am holding is my current personal best at 16lb 12oz caught on a Nash Scopex ready-made boilie. It was a massive fish for the venue we were fishing and it was a horrible cold windy day too. Also three people had done the whole night for one fish and we caught six just in a day session.

The other picture is of me and my uncle. We are always messing about with pictures on the computer and we thought you might like to see this one.

Paul O’ Connor sent a picture he called ‘A Welsh Dusk’

Dave Cooke went cross-eyed with this one!

And Dave Cooper sent this nice river scene:

So well done to all, and keep your entries coming in. It’s mainly for fun, but the winner receives a FISHINGmagic cap. A few words about the photo helps too.
