FISHINGmagic VERDICT

These are tough feeders that don’t split anywhere near as easily as some brands. The built-in power stretch link works well and allows you to heave out a full feeder without undue danger of cracking off.

I’ve used them on the rocky-bottomed Ribble all through winter without damaging them beyond usability, and that’s saying something on this river that eats feeders for breakfast.

Of course, it’s still possible to lose them in snags, and at £ 1.50 a brace you can’t afford to lose too many, so perhaps the Ribble and other feeder-eating fisheries, is not the place to use them. But for anywhere else they’re a feeder of exceptional quality that does the job it’s meant for. If you’re not in danger of losing many you’ll have a job to find better.
