In the coming weeks I will be writing a feature on Penvosefor all of you who will be coming to Cornwall this summer and will belooking for some top notch fishing.

Penvose is a 4 lake complex with lake improvements taking place ontwo lakes at the moment, so the RCWL fished two sections on the “Match”lake, with the remainder (“A” Section) being fished on the No. 2lake.

The No. 2 lake fished really well for all anglers, with JohnShirley (Phoenix A) securing top spot with 38lb of mainly Carp with afew silver fish as well. John fished maggot on the long and shortpole lines.

Steve “Smokey” Robinson secured “B” section, for RNAS Cauldrose, with in form man Pete Cash taking the “C” section for the RetallickTeam.

Top Team on the day were TMS Toads, with Phoenix A taking the 2ndspot on weight advantage from TMS Frogs.

Well that’s another winter league over, suppose it’s time for painting and gardening? Nah, summers here, time for more fishing.

Till the next time, take care, tight lines and tidy pegs
