Mark Brown and 34lb 6oz common

Few can deny that the Frimley common carp are amongst the moststunning looking in the country and Kennington, London angler MarkBrown has just taken the cream of the crop with this immaculate PitThree fish of 34lb 6oz, the largest reported from the venue.

Mark fished a Richworth Esterberry boilie at 30 metre range on aclear spot behind a weed bed and struck into his only take of the dayat 10am. The bait was presented on a 15lb Scorpion hook length with a2oz in-line lead and 12lb Fox barbuster line.

Top Guildford all-rounder and RMC Specimen Group member AdrianSmith has just taken a massive haul of bream from Pit 3 on theFrimley Complex.

Fishing maggot feeder over a bed of groundbait and spodded pelletsAdrian took three common carp to 22lb 12oz before the bream moved in,pushed the carp out and got their heads down to feed in numbers.

During the course of the day Adrian netted 20 bream for a totalweight of just short of 180lb with thirteen of the fish topping thedouble-figure mark with eight at 10lb and 5 at 11lb.

This catch follows on from excellent bream catches on the complexmade by both Neil Wayte and Martin Spong and the big tench caught byBill James. Frimley Pit Three has always had a reputation for being amarvellous carp water and now that a few anglers are beginning to tryfor different species the quality of the range of specimen fishingthat is available is beginning to come to light.

CLUSTER CAPTURED

Paul Bracey and Cluster at 46lb 8oz

Cluster has been captured from Wraysbury One at a new top weightof 46lb 8oz. The captor was Birmingham angler Paul Bracey and as youcan see the fish was looking quite magnificent.

Also out of Wraysbury one in the past few days was the gloriousMary’s Mate that was taken by Marky Mark at a weight of 42lb 6oz.

The Redmire strain commons are showing up to the mid 20lb mark andwith the young Sutton fish also feeding hard and beginning to learntheir way around the future of the water is looking very brightindeed.
