The Bexhill Sea Angling Festival 2012 is almost upon us and as well as being a celebration of south coast sea angling it features five great fishing competitions with cash and tackle prizes to a total value of aropund £5K to be won – all competitions are £15 to enter with entry forms available HERE

The competitions running and the dates are as follows:

Open Boat Competition – 15 September 

 
Species Hunt start time is 09:00 with the best five species weighed in from a possible 12. Boats launching from Bexhill, Hastings and Eastbourne clubs with no limits on distance or wrecks.

 
Open Kayak Competition – 16 September

Launching from Bexhill.
 

Roving Beach Specimen Hunt – 17 to 22 September

Taking place from Rye Harbour to Normans Bay.

 
Open Pegged Beach Competition – 22 September

13:00 to 18.45 on Bexhill Beach.

 
Bass Specimen Hunt – 23 September 

08:00 to 15:00 best bass caught between Glyne Gap, Bexhill and Normans Bay.
