Neil Turney from Milton Keynes fished DT Baits boilies over spodded particles at 70 yards to catch mirror carp of 26.02 and 18.04.
James Meakin from London caught a 33lb catfish by fishing halibut pellet hook baits and PVA bags containing halibut pellets at a distance of 20 yards from the bank.
Twelve year old Jamie Thompson from the Wirral caught a surpise 28.02 catfish when he fished maize over pellets at 30 yards range.
Kevin Buxton has caught commons of 14lb, 23.12, 23.06 and 14.08 plus mirrors of 17.06, 20.01 and 27.14 – the 27.14 was a PB for Kevin. His friend Richard Hill caught a mirror of 23.02.
Swindons Neil Buckle caught a 25.14 mirror when fishing Richworth Ultra – Plex at 50 yards range over a spod mix.
Fishing Richworth Tuti-Fruti over a spod mix at 50 yards Andy Barlow from Luton caught six doubles and a personal best 38.04 common carp, plus four more twenties to 26.02. Fishing a similar method and the same bait Steve Cliff from Houghton Regis caught 19 carp, of which six were twenties to 26lb 6oz.
Peter Christoforou from Banbury who is on a Lee Collins Tutorial caught a 16.08 mirror on Mainline Activ Pineapple fished over Grubber Pellets and Bio Feed at 40 yards.
HARDWICK LAKE
Shaun Passmore from North Devon fished in the margins with pineapple pop-ups over a bed of pellets to catch a common of 33.03 and a linear scaled mirror of 29.14. Also from Devon is Steve Tee who fished Activ 8 – single hook baits at 30 yards to catch mirrors of 33.08, 21.08 and 19.02.
GAUNTS LAKE
Bob Benson from Solihull caught a 35lb mirror when he fished particles over a spod mix. This fish was Bob’s third thirty from the water this year.
YEOMENS LAKE
Fishing home made boilies over pellets at 60 yards, Southamptons Norman Stansbridge caught mirrors of 29.02, 28lb and 23.08.
UNITY LAKE
Ivor Peachey caught a lake record ghost carp of 32.04 and eight mirrors including twenties of 22.14 and 20.08 when he fished maggots over spodded pellets at 7o yards range.
MANOR FARM LAKE
Basildon angler Stuart Bourne caught six doubles to 19lb and a 31.12 mirror when he fished at 80 yards range with Mainline Boilies over pellets.
OXLEASE LAKE
Simon Wild from Dudley caught a 22.09 mirror when he fished The Source Boilies along with PVA bags containing pellets at approx. 60 yards range.
David Parsons, son of our Head Bailiff Roy, made one of his rare visits to the complex to catch six mirror carp to 25.13. This was a personal best for David who fished The Edge Baits – pineapple chunks over spodded pellets at 60 yards range.
Lincoln’s Mark Greatrix caught a personal best 29.14 mirror and a double when on his first visit to the water he fished particles over a spod mix at 50 yards.
Also catching a PB is Godfrey Broom from Tackley who caught a 21.02 mirror. Godfrey who also caught a 10lb mirror fished poped-up pineapple boilies on the hook with bags containing pellets.
Jamie MacFarland from Oxford caught mirrors of 32.04 and 24.08 plus eleven doubles by fishing plastic corn over a spod mix at 60 yards.
Oxford’s Pierce Beeton, a student, who was down to do work experience with Linear caught seven mirrors to 24.04. The twenty was a PB for Pierce who fished particles over pellets at 65 yards.
Scott Godwin from Redditch caught mirrors of 26.06, 26lb and 21lb plus two doubles when he fished the zig rig. Also fishing the zig was his brother Nigel who managed six doubles to 19lb.
Brian and Nigel Goodwin from Redditch both fished pineapple pop-ups over spodded pellets at 50 yards to catch 16 mirrors to 19lb between them.
Adam Snowdon from Yorkshire caught eight doubles and a 24.08 mirror when he fished Eric’s Angling GLM Boilies over 20k of spod mix. His Father Keith caught a 24lb mirror and six doubles fishing the same method.
