MANOR FARM LAKE
Wayne Hatton from Cheshire has caught Cut-Tail at dead-on 39lb. The big mirror is a PB for Wayne who also caught two doubles on NRG Boilies fished at 60 yards. His mate Carl Beresford, also from Cheshire, has caught six doubles on particles.

ST JOHNS LAKE
UPDATED

Simon Revill from Stevenage caught a mirror of 20.08 and two commons of 21lb and 22.02. Simon fished NRG boilies at 80 yards.

Arron Edwards of Thame in Oxfordshire fished The Point to catch a 30.01 common and mirror carp of 28lb, 24.06, 24lb and 18.02. all the fish were caught on particles at 35 yards.

Neil Streeting and his fishing pal Craig Temple, both from Coventry, paid their first visits to the water this week and so far Neil has caught a 27.04lb fully scaled mirror, a 24.12lb mirror and a 14lb common. Craig has caught two mirrors of 25lb and 10lb. Both are fishing the margins using Pattersell Park Mix with squid.

West Kensington’s Dave Bernaby is fishing 60 yards to the back of the bar from the Road Bank and has caught a 28.08 mirror on Bio-Plex Boilies soaked in Corn Steep Liquor.

Brian Worton from the West Midlands is on his first visit to the water and already he has caught a PB common carp of 27.04 on particles at 20 yards range.

Also on his first visit is Baber Rana who so far has caught three carp from the margins on tiger nuts. The fish, all mirrors, weighed 18lb, 20.01 and 21.08.

PLEASE NOTE: ST. JOHNS LAKE WILL BE CLOSED on the 5th, 6th & 7th of August for a Pro-Am Competition for youngsters. ANGLERS WILL BE ABLE TO GO ONTO THE WATER AFTER THE COMPETITION which ends in the afternoon on the 7th.

HARDWICK LAKE
Stockport’s Gareth Hughes fished Richworth Multiplex to catch six doubles and a low twenty – all mirrors.

YEOMANS LAKE
Sid Holmes fished particles to catch mirror carp of 23.07lb, 23lb and 15.04lb.

UNITY LAKE
Chris Blunt,at present enjoying a session on the water, has so far caught a common of 23.08.

GAUNTS LAKE
Salisbury’s Nick Bull is amongst the fish again with a mirror of 24.14 a common of 25.00 and two doubles.
