James Winstone fished boilies over heavily spodded pellets to catch a 27lb common.

Fishing the surface in the warmer hours and bottom baits at night, Chris Deane from Berkhamstead has caught 17 carp – 12 from the surface and five on his bottom baits. The best, a mirror, weighed 28.07. His mate, Andy Blackborough, has caught three mirrors to 18.08 on surface fished baits.

HARDWICK LAKE
Fishing at 50 yards with NRG Boilies over pellets, Mick Loftus from Manchester caught three mirrors – the best 25.08.

Chris Bewsher from Southampton has caught a linear mirror of 21.04 and a mirror of 15.04 on the Zig Rig.

YEOMANS LAKE
New member to the Guy Lake’s Syndicate, Peter Breeze on his first visit to Yeomans has caught a 30.02 mirror fishing with Mainline boilies over pellets.

MANOR FARM LAKE
Bristols Terry Weeden caught a 22.08 mirror off the surface and another of 19.08 with a bottom bait.

OXLEASE LAKE
Fishing Richworth Multiplex boilies over pellets at 40 yards, Chris Blunt caught 23 carp including eight doubles. With him in the same swim is Jackie Blunt and fishing the same method she caught eight carp including two twenties.

We have received reports that a mirror over 26lb and another over 28lb have been caught by two different anglers.

Paul Smith from Hertfordshire fishing boilies over pellets in PVA bags at 20 yards has caught nine mirrors to 21.04. Fishing with him and using the same methods is Mason Smith who has caught 15 fish to 18.04.

Richard Jenning’s caught 12 carp in a 24 hour session. The catch included four twenties, the best of these, a common, weighed 23.08. All the fish were caught by heavily spodding pellet and fishing boilie hook baits.

Miss Stef Prince also fished boilies over pellets to land a PB mirror carp of 21.08.

Brian Worton and his son John are on the water and fishing at 30 yards with boilies over pellets Brian has caught a 26.02 mirror and two smaller carp. John fishing particles over pellets has caught a 23.12 mirror and five smaller carp.
