ST JOHNS
David Trimmer ended his session with a 16.08 catfish that picked up his particle hook bait fished at 20 yards range. His 16 year old son Sam who is also fishing particles at 35 yards caught a PB mirror of 26.01 along with mirrors of 24.06, 18lb and a 16lb common. Alex Rippon caught a PB mirror of 25.11 on particles fished over and area spodded with pellets and particles.

Shaun Kent has caught a 25.10 mirror on boilies in the margins.

Ian Gibbard from Banbury is fishing boilies at 30 yards and has caught a mirror of 20.04 and a common of 21.08.

The Tony Parsons Memorial Match that has been held on the lake since Monday and ended today was a resounding success. Of the 20 youngsters who attended the event all but one caught carp and the one who didn’t did lose four fish. Fishing with some of the country’s top carp anglers as partners the youngsters caught 49 carp with the biggest a common weighing 33.01. There were 11 personal bests caught and most of the fish were caught on surface baits or zig rigs. This was a stunning result considering the extreme weather conditions – a full report will be released soon.

HARDWICK LAKE
Melvyn Woods from Northants is enjoying a session on the water. So far he has caught mirrors of 33.10, 30.15, 17.02 and 18.06. Melvyn is fishing boilies over spodded particles at 40 yards.

Lee Spriggs from Birmingham has caught a personal best mirror of 29.04 from the margins.

On his first visit to the water, Jason Scott caught a PB common of 27.08. Jason who is a plumber from Somerset used Mike Wilmot’s B5 boilies as hook bait over an heavily spodded pellet & hemp spot at 60 yards range.

Mike Webb from Gloucester caught a PB mirror carp of 32.05 off the surface.

Justin Jones from Harrow, middlesex caught a 30lb mirror on floater.

Shaver of Gardner tackle caught 3 doubles.

YEOMANS LAKE
Darren Hemmings who is fishing at 60 yards with Richworth Multi-Plex Boilies over spodded hemp, pellets and cord has caught mirrors of 26.12, 16.04 and 14.04.Simon Hare from Chinnor is fishing single boilie hook baits towards the island and so far has accounted for mirrors of 28.04, 24.09 and a 24.11 common.

MANOR FARM LAKE
Using a Frank Warwick Fluorescent pop-up fished on a gravel bar at 70 yards, Kevin Hewitt from Bristol has caught the mirror carp know as ‘Cut Tail’ at 38.12 and finished his session with a 21.04 common, again caught on a Frank Warwick fluoro pop-up.

Gary Dixon from Woodley Reading caught a 29.04 mirror using Hiders Betaine pellets on the hook and in a PVA bag. Gary cast to an hole in the weed at 40 yards range.

OXLEASE LAKE
Aylesbury’s, Mark Holton caught 7 carp to 24.10 on Terry Hearn The Source Boilies. These were fished at 40/45 yards along with hemp & pellets in PVA bags. His mate Dave Small, using the same method has caught 9 fish to 20lb.

Ivor Peachey finished his session on the water with another nine carp the four biggest of these weighed 27lb, 20.06, 19.02 mirrors and a 23.08 common. Baits were 10ml Richworth Multi-Plex fished over an heavily spodded area.Darren Hemmings added another six carp to his final tally these included mirrors to 18.08 and a common of 21.10. Darren also fished 10ml Multi-Plex over an heavily spodded area.

Fourteen year old Matthew McQue was more than pleased when he caught a PB carp. Matthew fished particles over an heavily spodded area to tempt the mirror which weighed spot-on 20lb.

HUNTS CORNER LAKE
Using Heathrow Bait Services pop-ups in the margin shallows Stefan Bal from Bedfordshire caught a 26lb mirror.

Other carp to mid-twenties were reported caught on surface baits.
