First of all, let me just say a big thank you to Wendy for being such a good sport about this. I told her at the time that the picture was going to be used in a caption competition and that she could expect plenty of insults. Course, she knew that anyway, and said it was okay. So, thanks Wendy, you’re a good sport. All those who insulted my manhood were automatically disqualified. Only kidding.
The winners and the winning captions were: Steve (Oldfart) Smith: “Christ Wendy, that cheese paste ain’t half strong, or have you just dropped one?” Mike Parker: “Oooooooooooooh Graham! Just like a real one, only smaller!” Pete Haskell: “When he won ‘Musical Chairs’ Graham was so excited he was up for a quick game of ‘Hide The Sausage’.” Pete’s won a runner-up prize before so he’s either good at this kind of competition, or he’s clicked onto what makes me laugh. And don’t forget, that’s what counts. |
