Bob’s Big Chub Falls To Bread

Fishers Green regular Bob Hornegold has been targeting the venue’s chub seriously this winter but like so many anglers he has struggled a little in far from perfect conditions for the species.

It finally came good and after taking a couple of 5lb specimens from the river along with barbel to 12lb 2oz Bob connected with this Relief Channel specimen of 6lb 5oz.

The fish picked up a bread flake bait after dark and signalled the end of a 10 session blank on the Channel.
